The PROJECT
Harrods Depository is a home in a converted warehouse – formerly a furniture depot for the renowned department store Harrods
The design enhances the character of this unique building, an early example of the Kahn concrete construction system, giving distinction to its innovative concrete frame and robust construction; to its industrial energy and grandeur.
Daylight and greenery are drawn in from the surroundings, counterbalancing the building’s industrial qualities with vitality and warmth.
A subtle blend of spaces and surfaces – materials and textures – colours and light – seamlessly flow throughout an open plan, connecting the many different lives of the Client within a serene and contemplative home.
