Palm Pavilion

The PROJECT

Palm Pavilion is a transportable, modular building, showcasing architectural uses for wood from Coconut Trees.

The design is inspired by an oasis of palm trees; offering respite from the environment and a comforting place to rest.

The building’s arched roof provides high level shelter and makes a dramatic feature of the structural grid of pillars. The modular system consists of lathed Palmwood® columns, filigree steel arches and translucent parachute fabric.

The pavilion is adaptable for use as a permanent shade canopy, a colonnade, tent, marquee or freestanding building.
